Shonny Constant

Back to the scene of the crime.  After that insufferable Lions game, and some well needed time with the family, I hit up another show at the Pins and Needles joint.  It was a great time, and I think I got some good pics from the night.

Next weekend, they're doing something really cool with a two night gig in conjunction with the Corktown Tavern.  Admission price is waived either night with the donation of an unwrapped toy.  All the money and goodies are going to the Children's Hospital of Detroit, and as someone who had something of an extended stay there in my past, I can attest to how well they'll be received.  Things get lonely on the inside.

Friday's show is at P.A.N. Shop, and is all ages.  If you check out my newest music post, you'll see just how I feel about the Flaks.  Spoiler alert, I fucking love them.  Saturday's 21+ show features a band I'm also on record for, Fires In Japan.  Unless I'm mistaken, the rest of the bands will be new to me, which is pretty great.  New territory anchored by existing favorites almost guarantees a killer night out.  I'm looking way forward to it.  If you happen by either one, grab me up and let me take your picture, eh?  We're all in this for the good times, right?  Let's get in it together.  And this time, behind a great cause!

Cheers!
